Terms of sale
The terms you buy under. They describe what the checkout on this site actually does.
Not published
This page is not a policy yet
The structure is here, but the points below are decisions for the owner of the business and have not been made. Nothing on this page has been agreed, and nothing on it should be relied on.
Still to be decided
- The registered name of the company that sells this coffee — the one on the business registration, which may not be the word AVORA.
- That company's full registered address, including the country.
- Its tax registration number — the NIT, or a VAT number if it has one.
- The day these pages start to apply, as a calendar date.
- The country whose law governs a sale here, and whose courts would settle a disagreement.
Until every point above has an answer, this page stays out of the sitemap and asks search engines not to list it.
The answers are written once, in lib/legal-answers.ts, and this notice removes itself.
Who you are buying from
When you place an order here, your contract is with the company named above.
Prices and quantities
Prices are in US dollars. The price you pay is worked out on our server from our own catalogue — a browser cannot propose a price — and the total, delivery included, is shown before you confirm. One order can hold at most 20 units of the same bag and 50 different items.
When an order becomes an order
Going to checkout creates a pending order and sends you to Stripe. Your order is accepted only once Stripe tells us the payment went through; at that point it becomes paid and we email you a confirmation. If the payment does not complete, the pending order is never fulfilled and you are not charged.
Subscriptions renew on their own
A subscription is billed every month and renews by itself until you stop it. The amount is the one shown on the plan you choose and confirmed by Stripe before you pay.
Stopping a subscription
Cancelling is one button on your account page. There is no form to fill in, no email to send and nobody to telephone — it takes fewer steps than signing up did. You can also pause instead of cancelling, and start again from the same screen. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the month you have already paid for runs to its end, and that delivery still goes out.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself: anyone holding them can order in your name and read your order history. Write to the address at the foot of this page if you want your account closed.
Changes to these terms
The terms that apply to an order are the ones published on the day it was placed. If they change, the date at the top of this page changes with them.
