What this site stores in your browser, and when. Read from the code rather than from a template, which is why the list is short.

This page is not a policy yet
The structure is here, but the points below are decisions for the owner of the business and have not been made. Nothing on this page has been agreed, and nothing on it should be relied on.
Still to be decided
- The registered name of the company that sells this coffee — the one on the business registration, which may not be the word AVORA.
- That company's full registered address, including the country.
- Its tax registration number — the NIT, or a VAT number if it has one.
- The day these pages start to apply, as a calendar date.
Until every point above has an answer, this page stays out of the sitemap and asks search engines not to list it.
The answers are written once, in lib/legal-answers.ts, and this notice removes itself.
What gets set
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Clerk sign-in cookies | Only once you sign in | Keep you signed in and keep your account pages yours. Set by Clerk, who run the accounts. |
| NEXT_LOCALE | When you pick a language | Remembers the language you chose, so the site does not put you back into another one on your next visit. |
| PostHog cookies | Only after you accept, where analytics are switched on | Count page views and a few shop events, so we can see which pages work. Set by PostHog. |
| Vercel page-view counter | On every page | Counts page views. Run by Vercel, who host the site. |
| avora-cart | When you put something in the basket | Keeps your basket if you close the tab. Stored in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, and not sent to us on its own. |
Payment
Paying happens on Stripe’s own page, not on this one. Anything Stripe stores is stored under Stripe’s address, and this site sets nothing on their behalf.
Consent
Nothing in the analytics rows above is set until you accept. The site asks once, in a small panel at the bottom of the page, and refusing takes the same single click as accepting — the two buttons are the same size and sit side by side. You can change your answer at any time from “Cookie choices” in the footer; declining also stops anything already running on the page you are on.
Turning them off
Your browser can block or delete cookies and local storage for this site. If you do, you will be signed out and your basket will empty; the rest of the shop keeps working.
